Neighbor pet peeves……What about….

Running water at night?

Vacuuming?

My neighbor doesn’t like it when I WALK! Let alone any of these.
An old lady lives below me in an apartment unit. She needs to be in a senior citizen place. She has come knocking on my door for all of the above. As for me, I understand that people are living their lives so none of these would bother me. I just turn the TV up. Ijust ignore the lady and carry on with minding my own business.

Would any of these bother YOU?

Is the heart test to detect calcium deposits worthwhile?

Miz D asked:

I have noticed a local hospital advertising a fairly inexpensive test to find heart disease early, before a person has a heart attack. To quote the advertisement: “The HEART TEST uses an advanced imaging technology called Electron Beam Tomography (EBT) to determine if you have atherosclerosis (clogging of the arteries) by looking for calcium deposits (calcification) in your coronary arteries. Traditional cardiovascular screening tests, such as stress tests, echocardiograms, PET scans, and cholesterol tests, are certainly important. But even if your results on all of these tests are normal, it doesn’t mean that your coronary arteries are disease free or you’re not at risk for a heart attack. That’s where the HEART TEST comes in.”

I wanted the opinion of Senior Citizen category participants. Perhaps you or your partner has had this test. Would you recommend it to others?
